There's a moment in Winter when Redhead Beach holds its breath. The sun, still shy behind the headland, starts painting before it appears - first touching the clouds, then wrapping that orange glow around the cliffs like a slow-motion embrace. From the Steel Street Lookout, you see the whole story unfold: the way light bends around rock, how shadows retreat across the sand, the first hints of swell lines appearing in the growing light.
