0063 Allure

Shot from the water at Keiki Beach on the North Shore of Oahu, this wave is all about positioning. The balance is fine. Sit too far inside and you get detonated as the lip unloads. Hold back even slightly and the sweep pulls you past the break before the barrel forms.

This frame was captured by committing to a narrow window, reading the draw of the wave and holding position just long enough for it to stand up and hollow out. There’s no time to adjust once it starts running — timing and trust do the rest.

Allure reflects that tension at Keiki, where waves invite you in but punish hesitation, and every clean moment is earned.
