0095 Torque

Torque is a powerful ocean wave photograph captured near Cowrie Hole, where incoming swell loads, twists, and drives forward with compressed energy along the Newcastle coastline. Shot at water level, this image reveals the raw mechanics of the sea — rotational force building through the curve of the wave just moments before release.

Torque forms part of the 2026 Collection and as a result will be limited to 25 orders.
