0106 Ambercut

Ambercut was taken from above at Redhead, where the coastline hardens and the ocean has no choice but to bend around it. The headland slices cleanly through the swell, creating that sharp seam between deep water and the shallows — dark green holding space, lighter water folding and breaking along the edge. From the air, you see what you can’t from the beach: how precise the coastline is, how the wave lines draw themselves, and how Redhead quietly shapes every set that passes through. This is one of those moments where the scale only really makes sense once you step back.
