Timing is a big part if photography. When I arrived early one morning at Merewether Ocean Baths, I found that a few photographers were already setup with the composition I wanted, so I wandered around the baths snapping a few different angles. There was a bit of colour but it started to fade. I noticed that the photographer that was setup for this composition, packed up and left. As I walked over, the colour started to reappear in the clouds, a phenomenon called "Second Light". This can happen as sunlight interacts with new cloud layers or atmospheric particles, often creating a second burst of vibrant hues. Ive been caught at a few times at sunset, packing up early to see the sky colours reappear so it was great to be on the winning side this time.
All prints sizes are inclusive of white border. A3+ / A2 = 30mm border.
